Overnight Phinisi Sailings — 2 to 14 Nights from Bali
Komodo Luxury Cruise — multi-day adventure
Sleep aboard a hand-built Indonesian phinisi yacht. Each morning brings a different bay, dive site, or volcano view. Charters depart Bali for Moyo, Sumbawa, Lombok, and Komodo Islands.
Five Routes Worth Sailing
These are the routes we run most often. Each can be lengthened, shortened, or customized — these are starting points, not menus.
Bali → Lombok 2N
Bali to Gili Trawangan to Lombok’s Sekotong Bay. Snorkel with turtles, no internet, no agenda. Shortest overnight option. From IDR 48M.
Bali → Moyo Island 4N
Cross the Lombok Strait east to Moyo. Waterfall hike, Satonda crater lake, hidden bays. Wildlife-rich. From IDR 95M.
Bali → Komodo 7N
The full crossing many guests assumed required a flight. Pink Beach, Komodo dragons, Padar viewpoint. Return-flight from LBJ included. From IDR 165M.
Bali → Sumbawa 5N
Surf-focused itinerary for advanced guests. Sumbawa’s Lakey Peak, secret reef breaks. Boards aboard. From IDR 110M.
Custom Multi-Island
Build your own itinerary across any combination of Bali, Lombok, Sumbawa, Moyo, Komodo, Flores. Min 4 nights. Quoted per route.
Vessel Standards Across Our Network
We work with 12+ phinisi captains across Indonesia. Every vessel must meet these baseline standards before we list it.
4–8 Cabins
All cabins en-suite with hot fresh-water showers. King or twin configurations available. Minimum 9m² per cabin.
Indonesian Crew of 6+
Captain (Indonesian master mariner license), 2 deck crew, chef, stewardess, dive guide on diving routes. English-speaking host included on every charter.
Full Meal Plan
Three meals + afternoon snacks per day. Indonesian, Western, and dietary-restricted menus. Dietary needs notified 7 days prior.
Diving Equipment
Full PADI dive setup on charters that include diving. 12L tanks, regs, BCDs, weights. Compressor on board for fills. Open-water diving certification required.
Tender + Watersports
All boats carry a tender (5–8m) for shore landings and dive ops. SUP boards, snorkels, and kayaks included on most vessels.
Safety Standards
Annual inspection, life rafts, EPIRB, marine radio, first-aid certified crew. Children’s life vests carried by default.
How Multi-Day Pricing Works
Charters are priced by full-boat per-night, not per-person. A 4-night charter for 2 people costs the same as 4 nights for 10 people on the same boat.
Standard Phinisi (4-cabin)
From IDR 24M per night. Suitable for 2–8 guests. Includes all meals, fuel, crew, and standard route.
Premium Phinisi (5-cabin)
From IDR 38M per night. 50m yacht, 5 cabins, larger sundeck. Suitable for groups up to 10. Better seakeeping in open water.
Luxury Phinisi (6+ cabin)
From IDR 65M per night. Top-tier vessels (Lamima-class, Tiare-class). Spa, gym, multiple sundecks. Up to 14 guests.
What’s extra
Diving (+IDR 1.2M/dive/person), alcohol (BYO or stocked at cost), helicopter ops (on request, +IDR 35M/transit), special chef requests.
Long-Charter Specifics
Multi-day charters have different logistics than day cruises — customs at Lombok, dive ops, weather windows. These are the questions our planners answer most.
How does the Bali → Komodo route compare to flying to Labuan Bajo?
Can I bring my own dive instructor?
What happens if a guest gets seasick or sick mid-trip?
Do you do honeymoon or anniversary trips?
Can the itinerary change mid-trip?

Why a Multi-Day Bali Liveaboard Beats Land Tours
Our Bali liveaboard guests consistently say the multi-day format ranks above any land-based itinerary in Indonesia. Three reasons keep coming up: zero transfers, anchorages no land tour can reach, and the Komodo liveaboard or Raja Ampat liveaboard experience compressed into one continuous cinematic experience instead of fragmented hotel hops. Liveaboard Indonesia done right means waking up every morning to a different bay, captain announcing the day plan over fresh Indonesian coffee, then snorkel — breakfast — sail — anchor — repeat. No checkin lines, no airport queues, no transfer-day fatigue. The boat is the room and the room moves overnight.
